"Preach the Gospel always and if you have to, use words"
                                 - St. Francis of Assisi

It's simple. People learn and retain more from what they see, hear, and feel. As church leaders, it’s each of our responsibility to reach out to people who aren’t Christians and train up those who are.  Whenever it makes sense, why not use the power of cinema to supplement your teaching, preaching, and reaching?

Sermon Cinema strives to be a trusted resource for your eternally important work.

Kyle Thompson
Creative Director and Co-Founder

After hearing a sermon on reaching a sight and sound generation in 1993, Kyle left the import/export business and went to work for a non-profit media ministry. There he formed and managed teams which brought multimedia outreach campaigns to every broadcast market in the nation and to 33 countries. He later created a consulting and production company to meet the increasing media needs of churches and ministry-related companies, and has worked on promotion for many film projects such as Resurrection, Mel Gibson’s The Passion of the Christ, End of the Spear and Facing the Giants.

Psalm 91: 14 - "Because he loves me," says the LORD, "I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name."
Marc Harper
Executive Director and Co-Founder

What began in 1993 as a youth pastor's desire to better communicate God’s Word through the use of media grew into Marc's calling. Originally bound for seminary, he worked with Kyle helping thousands of churches use more media for ministry. Marc's focus has been developing relationships with like-minded organizations and to help lead national marketing campaigns for faith-friendly programs on PAX television and ABC and for several theatrical releases like Extreme Days, Left Behind, Beyond the Gates of Splendor, End of the Spear and Facing the Giants.
